The Moto2 125cc test last week at the Motorland Aragón track brought together other racers, as they prepared for
an opportunity to take a first look at the track to be visited for its first World Championship GP on September 19th.
In sweltering conditions with temperatures up to 40ºC, the whole Ducati competitor list (excluding Casey Stoner), was
present. The threesome of Nicky Hayden, Aleix Espargaró and Héctor Barberá all made observations
of the layout on a Suter 600cc engine.
Páginas Amarillas Aspar racer Barbera, took to 15 laps of the track
last week and commented, “It’s a complete track – every corner is a fast one, the straight is very
long and it goes downhill and uphill. Every track in Spain is special for me, and this is a new one which I like.”
