The delay of the Grand Prix of Japan was able to allow Jorge Lorenzo some extra time to attend the opening round of the
2010 CEV Buckler (Spanish National Championship), he supported friend and training partner Ricard Cardús in his debut
in Moto2 category at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Lorenzo is a sponsor of Cardús in the Laglisse squad, for
whom he races a Suter MMX next to Carmelo Morales, Jorge Castellanos and Colombian Santiago Hernández. The four machines
move with the logo ‘XFuera’, which is a signature of the 2009 MotoGP World Championship runner up.
Lorenzo
was due to travel to Berlin last week in order to fulfill a personal sponsor commitment, then fly to Japan for the Grand Prix
preparataions, however the postponement of the event from the volcanic eruption has enabled Lorenzo to support Cardús’
debut in person.
