The normal first day of the second official MotoGP test for this year was on Wednesday and scheduled as a day for test
racers only.
Yamaha and Suzuki were the two builders that gained advantage of the initial day at the Sepang International
Circuit. Yamaha embarked with Norihiko Fujiwara and Wataru Yoshikawa while Nobuatsu Aoki raced the GSV-R for Suzuki.
Honda opted not to bring their test competitor. Ducati’s Vittoriano Guareschi did not race the Desmosedici GP10.
High temperatures greeted those who arrived to the asphalt as Suzuki prepared to use this testing in order to bring
out the fresh GSV-R machine, with Yamaha still continuing modifications on the YZR-M1.
Thursday testing is scheduled
to begin at 10am local time, with the official MotoGP competitors beginning the second tests of their respective prototypes.
Fiat Yamaha racer Jorge Lorenzo will not be testing due to a hand injury.
